When you or a loved one has been injured, you need a Kansas attorney that will go to bat for you and obtain the compensation you deserve for your pain and suffering. You need an attorney who will get results by listening to you and placing your needs first.

Steve Brave is the Kansas accident & injury attorney that you need. Since graduating from the University of Kansas School of Law, Steve has fought to obtain fair and just  compensation for his clients.

Here is a partial listing of recoveries that Steve has obtained for injured people since 2008:

  • $4,000,000 – Recovery obtained for a minor child that sustained a catastrophic brain injury due to the negligence of those who were responsible for his well-being;
  • $1,230,000 – Recovery obtained for a passenger in a vehicle that was injured when another vehicle failed to yield the right of way and pulled out in front of his oncoming car.  The driver was unable to stop in time to avoid a collision.  Our client suffered severe injury as a result of the ensuing accident;
  • $870,000 – Recovery obtained for a man who was injured when another vehicle attempted to make a left turn without looking and pulled directly into the path of his oncoming car.  Despite our client’s best efforts to take evasive action, he had no way to either stop his car or avoid the accident.  There was a major collision and our client sustained severe injury;
  • $550,000 – Recovery for the widow of a man who was killed as a result of the negligence of another driver that ran a stop sign and caused a fatal collision;
  • ***CONFIDENTIAL***– Settlement obtained from a Kansas nursing home. As a condition of settlement, the nursing home required that details concerning the
    incident and the amount of the settlement be kept confidential;
  • $255,000 – Recovery obtained for a woman who was injured when a piece of equipment fell off of a semi-tractor trailer and struck her vehicle, causing her to undergo surgery;
  • $200,000 – Recovery obtained for a man who was injured in an automobile accident caused by a speeding driver;
  • $100,000– Recovery obtained for a woman that fell and broke her leg when a
    grocery store employee spilled water on the floor and did not clean it up;
  • $100,000 – Recovery obtained for a woman that was traveling on I-35 when another driver entered her lane and caused her to leave the roadway.  She lost control of her car and struck the median.  The other driver’s insurance company, State Farm, denied any responsibility for the accident.  Suit was filed and during discovery it was fairly obvious that the other driver was not being honest about his conduct.  Shortly after the Defendant’s deposition was taken, State Farm offered the full amount of its insured’s policy to compensate our client for her injuries.
  • $100,000 – Recovery for a minor child who injured her eye in an automobile accident.  The amount paid was the full amount available under the Defendant’s insurance policy;
  • $100,000 – Recovery for a man who sustained severe and permanent injuries when his vehicle was struck by a hit-and-run motorist who fled the scene. Because the “phantom motorist” was not located, the amount recovered was paid by our client’s own insurance company;
  • $100,000 – Settlement obtained for a client that was sideswiped by a negligent driver that was also speeding. The collision forced our client off the road and into a pole, causing a fractured jaw.  The amount paid was the full amount available under the Defendant’s insurance policy;
  • $50,000 – Recovery obtained for a woman that was injured when her vehicle was hit by an uninsured vehicle.  The amount paid was the full amount available under our client’s insurance policy;;
  • $65,000– Recovery obtained for a woman who broke multiple fingers when she
    was injured in an automobile accident.

The following list shows the cases Steve has worked on that have been reported by
